Any references to ‘User’ within the context of this Privacy Policy is intended and shall be considered to be any Visitor, Member, Partner, Global church member, customer and any person who part takes in the use of facilities, services, products, affiliated accounts, social medias and email forums and all entities operated by Siva Moodley Ministries, including its offices.

 

 

1. What do we do with your information?

 

As a Visitor, you can browse our Website to find out more about our Website. You are not required to provide us with any personal information as a Visitor.

 

SMM collects some anonymous information that cannot be traced back to a specific individual (when that person is not signed in with an account). For example, our web servers automatically record the IP address (the general location where the user is logged) of each visitor to our Website, sivamoodley.com, and tracks how many people visit the Website. The IP Address is used to connect the user's browser to our hostserver to deliver content and is essential to the sites functioning. The IP Address data is aggregated and not stored (logged) after the user leaves the website. This anonymous information is used to administer and specialize the Website more effectively and gain general information about the backgrounds and sources of visitors. Our DNS and CDN provider, Cloudflare will also serve SSL certificates to your browser to ensure safety and security with HTTPS Encryption. We collect your personal information when you sign up with us as a member of the Global Church, when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you sign up for our newsletter, when you participate in activities on our Website Site (such as using our builder) or otherwise contacting us

 

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about new products, free and premium content (like blog posts, content articles, YouTube videos, free product offers, live event alerts, etc.), and special announcements. Our email system is called "SMM Official Mail" and is powered by Substack, which has it's own privacy policy.

 

Via our social media’s (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter), we collect;

As a member, partner, customer of the SMM’s website, products and affiliations have a right to request your existing data profile. When you request this, we shall serve you with a fully detailed and free electronic copy of the data our servers have collected about you. This report shall also contain the ways in which your information is being used.

 

Once your data is given to you, you have a right to reuse that same data in environments external to SMM and its entities.

 

Once the original purpose and/or use of your data has been realized, you, the user, has a right to request complete deletion or correction of your data.

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. SMM uses Google Cloud for our data storage and transmission of sensitive data, no data is shared or sold to Google for advertising purposes and we retain full ownership of the data. You can read more about their privacy policy here.

Our website may contain links to other websites. SMM is not and will not be responsible for the privacy policies or the content of these other websites. Should you choose to follow a link to another website, you are subject to its privacy policy.

 

 

7. Age of Consent and Your Representation

 

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this site.

Our data is stored through Google Cloud's Data Storage and Databases. SMM wants to assure you that your information is always kept in a secure data collection system that is protected by a strong firewall with various other protection mechanisms. The Website also features robust DDoS protection and a secure SSL connection. If a breach of security occurs (Such as a hack into one of our data controllers, etc), SMM will inform you as a member, partner, customer of the ministry within 72 hours of confirming the breach.

 

 

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

 

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
